In response to the growing refugee crisis, with increasing numbers of people fleeing the fear and danger of war, and then to increased hostility in the UK around immigration, Refugee Action needed to galvanise public support for refugees arriving in the UK.

I helped develop a communications and call to action framework that would embrace both fundraising and campaigning and make the most of the #RefugeeWelcome campaign.

I then provided the content planning and copy-writing for all Refugee Action’s appeals over 18 months, tying in appeals to Refugee Action’s overall communications strategy.

Overall public income almost tripled.
